Paul in the meeting first welcomed the arrival of Michael and his party on behalf of Toowoomba City. The mayor introduced the basic situation of the city, and the newly built airport that can accomodate Boeing 747 aircraft. Many agricultural and food products from Queensland are shipped from this airport to China.

Michael introduced the work done by the Australia International Trade Association for promoting China-Australia cooperation over the years. There are many prospectives for Toowoomba's cooperation with China.

Mayor Paul finally sent a warm invitation to Michael and invited Michael to visit Toowoomba as a guest speaker to attend the city's business forum in near future.
