2015.9:China Hunan Provincial Ministry of Commerce delegation attended the “2015 Melbourne Royal Exp
On September 23 , 2015, at the invitation by David Koch, the president of China-Australia South Pacific City Summit, China Hunan Provincial Ministry of Commerce delegation led by Shi Huinong, team leader of Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce Discipline inspection, attended the“2015 Melbourne Royal Exposition China Year -New Zealand Forum”organized by Australia International Trade Association & Associates .
Hunan Province is the 7th most populous province of China(67,370,000) and the 10th most extensive by area (210,000 km2). Its capital is Changsha. As of 2016, its nominal GDP was USD 475 billion (CNY 3.16 trillion), the per capita GDP was USD 6,983 (CNY 46,382), except the prospect development of economy, Hunan is also famous for it’s astonishing geography landscape and historic architecture.
During the exposition, the delegation had meetings and conferences with representatives of New Zealand Trade Association, Waikao State council, Auckland city council and Hamilton city council , as well as companies and entrepreneurs from New Zealand, the theme of conferences were mainly about the future cooperation between New Zealand and Hunan in Agricultural area like beef production, seafood production and etc.. The meetings and conferences laid a steady foundation for the future business exchange and cooperation between New Zealand and Hunan .
